Other Bear Vets on Defense Sound Good Too - Charles Tillman would be great, but don't know if he will be within our price range. Hopefully, but if not Tim Jennins or Hayden from Chicago would both help our CB depth chart. Melton seems worth a look as the price on him probably will be right too. ----One Key Offensive Free Agent (and likely fill out O-Line depth with a a couple lower end signings)Julian Edelman - No body puts out tough underneath receivers like the Patriots. Woodhead has been huge for San Diego this year. Edelman could bring something similar to a team. ----Draft : All Offense1. Greg Robinson - OT Auburn2. Austin Seferian-Jenkins - TE Washington4. I agree with your premise...go after defense in free agency, especially pass rushers...and all offense in the draft. But I don't want an OT at #7. We need an explosive receiver badly. I like your second round pick, though.

I'm changing some things in my vision of fa.First, penn, dj, and clayborn(yes, proceed to bash me) need to be traded. I think it's possible to at least garner two third round picks.Besides that, I think I would go ahead and see if I could bring in both allen, and either hardy or peppers. Maybe talk to them beforehand to make sure someone would be comfortable making a move.We would have both sides of the dl in good shape and we would have two third round picks to move up, or pick up some linemen.Ultimately, I believe this fa period will dictate our draft.
Is Edelman really on the last year of his deal? If so, no way New England lets him go. He is an awesome football player. If he some how made his way to Tampa I would go crazy (with happiness!!!!)

Just realize that Allen and peppers only have a year maybe two left and any rookie OT we bring in will not be better then Penn next year. (no way I see Carolina letting hardy go)In regards to the lines I would keep Penn and Clayborne and release DJ. Sign Allen and another de like Wooten or Griffin and sign a OG in free agency then draft a OT an OG in the mid rounds.
