Ok. I will break it down by area/player.
QB. Winston has looked very uncomfortable in over half the games. He is sailing balls high over receivers heads at critical end of game moments. His ball placement lacks pinpoint accuracy. Is it footwork? Lack of a clean pocket?
Gerald McCoy
This guy is the great Houdini. He just flat out disappears in games. He is not resting havoc nor is he getting true sacks. He gets credited for other people's work. I just don't see him taking over. Takes plays off too. Doesn't make people better around him either.
Mike Evans.
He is playing like the MVP. Best player on the team and it's a long way to the next player.
Vincent Jackson
He is done. Looked very slow all year and like he was phoning it in.
Anger (punter)
He is a game changer at his position.
Aguayo
Awful is the word. Kicks off beautifully but lacks mental toughness. Has a major case of yips. Would have been cut already if not the high picks we gave up to get him. Maybe biggest mistake since Gaines Adams.
The rest of the team is basically average to mediocre.
The corners are both athletic and small in stature and can survive only if we generate a pass rush which we won't get done with Geraldini playing for us. I would trade him if I were in charge. He is holding the team back. Constantly hurt. Doesn't have the fire to win.
Doug Martin
Last seen shopping for a new car. He got his money and now its back to his 'I'm in the tub routine'
Head coach needs to get another wide receiver and fix the safety issue. Our DLine is not productive at pass rush. You can't win without a pass rush.
This team will be lucky to get to 8-8 and that's very optimistic.
Oh and lastly, what the heck do players do when there are home games? Might need to start treating them the same way as away games.
