Not just who you want, but who will it actually be? Bowles still has to be a possibility, but I will say Monken.
Monken interviewed for OC, knows the Bucs well, is well-liked inside OBP, should be wondering about regime change in Baltimore, hard-nosed, no nonsense offensive coach.
I think he's rumored to go to Clemson though? Not sure about that.
Where this is smoke, there is fire
incompetent franchises do incompetent things
Todd Bowles
whoa bold call!

From a personality standpoint Monken is a white Todd Bowles. Not a hire that is going to move the needle. While I think we go offensive coordinator, I think we find someone younger with more juice. Monken wasn’t loved here his first go around.

I didnt know that and actually thought the opposite?
I know his personality is actually the opposite of Bowles. Monken is a loud, in your face, profanity spewing coach. I think Harbaugh called him "up tempo," with a grin. lol
The only reason I mentioned him though is I think he took the Ravens offense from 20PPG to 30PPG (ish), from middle to low ranked offense to top 5 or 10.
who knows though, wild guess?
Licht will be the GM
Bowles will be the HC
Baker will be the QB
There will be a lot of new faces for Asst Coaches.
If we keep Bowles I'm gonna fly over to St Pete and take a shit on Licht's doorstep

thats an other bold one

assuming it’s lichts decision

Historically speaking most coaching decisions have been owners, right? I forget on Dungy but the Glazers were Gruden, Morris, Schano(?), Lovie for sure. Koetter? Not sure.
maybe not but they seem pretty active

Yeah, it’s not Licht’s decision. The GM makes recommendations on coaching. The owners ultimately make the decisions.

"Monken would be an offensive-minded head coach that is more akin to Bruce Arians in terms of his feisty demeanor, no-B.S. mindset and tell-it-like-it-is nature. He would be the polar opposite of Bowles in many ways, and he would likely get along fine with Licht, as the two worked together for three seasons in Tampa Bay."

i mean i'd only want Monken here if we decide to hire Harbaugh as head coach, and he's coming as the OC. Otherwise, rather go with somebody a bit younger - Kubiak, Brady, Kingsbury, Mike La Fleur
think Coen and Ben Johnson success
Monken to me as far as as a head coach would be more of the Greg Olson, Matt Nagy, Arthur Smith, Zac Robinson, type mold.
Is he better than Bowles? Sure, but not sure if it's the game changing hire we would need and could see him being a 2-3 season and done type hire.
game changing hire
Why do you think we need a "game changing hire?" If the team was a legit SB team that just got injured and had bad coaching then don't we need just need a guy ready to step in now with what we have in place?
