Seeing how the Patriots were willing to part ways with Chandler Jones, an elite pass rusher... yet we are keeping a mediocre qb in Glennon for an outrageous price of a first? (If the reports are true) he has 1 year left on his contract, I hope the Bucs are just playing the game and not actually serious..Patriots know when to get rid of a player, they are just superior when it comes to coaching and FO decisions. Jones was leaving the Pats next season due to FA, they weren't gonna pony up the huge contract that he's gonna demand. So they unload him and get building pieces, Cooper, and a 2nd round pick...a player you get on a cheap contract for 4 years.Glennon 1 year left on contract, just like Jones. He needs to be traded, for a pick in this years draft or it's just a real head scratcher IMO. A compensatory pick for Glennon would net us a 4th, 5th, or 6th... no way it's a 3rd. And that pick won't kick in until a year after he signs elsewhere.
