I love how you most of you guys read into stuff. The new regime says something to the affect that they "wouldnt rule out the possibility" of drafting a QB and you guys take that as gospel that they arent sold on Glennon. Im not here to say they are or are not, but how do you guys not see that is a total smoke screen answer so that other teams (and our fans by extension) have no idea what they plan on doing. Its also funny to hear you guys talk about how crappy the coaching was last year but yet somehow assume that with a rookie QB getting crappy coaching, that Mike has somehow reached his pinnacle of performance.

The Buc's have NEVER developed a QB into a franchise QB. Doug Williams was as close as they've ever come. There's no reason to think the new coaches will be any better then the 35+ years worth of coaches before them. Glennon has reached his pinnacle of performance with the Buc's. He might be a Steve Young somewhere else but he's a backup on the Buc's.

After 13 games? Understood.

You can give him as many as you want. He doesn't have the coaches to make it happen. He was setup for failure the minute he was drafted. Unless of course you dispute the fact the Buc's can't develop QB's in which case name the QB they developed.

I don't like glennon, and definitely think we could do better. With that said, if tedford can get the butter from the duck, god bless him.Glennon has a little bit of talent, and it can be worked with. Just like Freeman, bad coaching can doom a qb. So let's just hope, for whomever is qb, that tedford can turn average into great.I'm thinking, besides fluff of draft, the main reason lovie or our new gm would be interested in a vet qb, is because of age of some stars on our team, and, to adjust quickly because of the advanced amount of nfl knowledge a vet would have.Imvho, lovie should look at the history of this team lacking a legit franchise qb, understand that we had a top ten defense for nearly 16(!) season, and that we won superbowl ONE time for that.IF we would have had some success at qb, I would presume we could have won one or two more. Lovie needs to get "his" guy. If he is 100% comfortable with glennon, it's still better than vick, and maybe schaub.

We all hope that but it's happened zero times in over 35 years so far. I hope Tedford can break that trend but I'm not optimistic and for good reason.

Well, according to your logic in regards to our coaching staff, nobody will ever be a franchise QB here.
if Tedford schemed well enought to get Akili Smith and Joey Harrington, among other horrible qbs, drafted into the NFL, I think Glennon has the right coach in place in order to see if his traits will allow him to grow into a good NFL qb.
My impression from Lovie/Licht is they want a veteran QB IN CAMP. That's true of 99% of all NFL teams... Nothing has been said about them wanting to REPLACE Glennon with a vet. Only reason for Orlovsky was his chemistry in the classroom with Freeman; he really wasn't that good. Anyone who thinks Glennon THE SOPH won't be much improved over Glennon the ROOKIE come April mini-camp is in for a pleasant surprise. As for me, I expect it. My understanding is the kid has basically been living at 1BUC since the end of the season, and he's not on vacation...
He is physically limited, that is a part of what will hold him back.
Why would you have that as your sig. gif?? Sure sign you are a troll. Glennon is still a kid yet possesses a howitzer for an arm. He's not that mobile but you dont need to be if you are smart and have a strong accurate arm. I just wish we could get him to grow a couple of more inches so he can see over the line :P.

I wish I could take credit for that but it transcends me. It's not my logic it's the facts. Will it happen eventually; most likely but when is a mystery. It hasn't happened in 36 years so far but maybe year 37 will be the smoking gun. It's nice to know that no one disputes that fact.

So according to you the Bucs cant develop a QB because they never have been able to before? But you want to draft a new QB? BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!
Another way to look at it is 'can you see an NFL starter' when you watch Glennon play.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no.
