I may not be a fan of these, but they do look 100x better when the Pewter looks Pewter instead of black. The advertising dept that handle this helmet and uniform release need to be fired sooooo bad.

Agreed - which makes me realize that I really need to withhold judgment until I see them on the field under the sun. Between the chrome on the helmet and the pewter making up the majority of the design, its obvious the intention of these jerseys are to be interactive with the environment - similar to Oregon's uni's and the reflective helmet and chrome that those had (I went to the Rose Bowl when those were first rolled out and it was probably one of the sickest looks I've ever seen - it REALLY does not come across as well on TV as it does in person). if that is the intention with these uniforms then I'm onboard with it (although I'll still forever miss the old ones). BUT, if that is also the case, then I have no idea why they would do the reveal in a studio and not out on the field with these guys running around under the sun to really show them off.
I am confused, in the video you see Doug wearing this uniform around the 2:00 mark and I do not see the numbers to be divided by the chrome or anything. Only time in the video the numbers look that way

The home one is the white one. Glazer said we wear white 70 percent of the time.White is the crappier one, with the most distinguished alarm clock numbers that many people don't like. So neither of them is the one they want.
It's true , but only in the beginning of the season because it's too hot. Doesn't mean that's the official home jersey.
Official one?Eureka! If we say the old unis are the official ones and wear the new ones, we could keep some of the dissenters happy.
After initially hating the new unis - Based off that one black pic - I've decided today that I like them. Even the new numbers. I see the sword detail they were aiming for now.Let's start the season!!
I'm glad the orange is a little more prominent now. Love the orange swooshes on the pants and shoulders.

hey Snook, I thought Ed Glazer said something like 70% of the time at home they would be white/white? Maybe I am mistaken. Thanks for the link though

Not sure. But considering we didn't wear the white pants much before and that they decided not to show them in yesterday's release, I wouldn't count on seeing them much.

Yeah, my mistake I see now that Glazer said we will wear the white jersey 70% of the time due to heat. I thought he said white unis.
