An extensive federal crackdown that has targeted California state senator also has resulted in multiple charges against an Oakland-based NFLPA-certified agent.According to CBS SF, Marlon D. Sullivan faces allegations of narcotics and weapons trafficking, and the sale of fraudulent credit cards. Sullivan also is accused of helping facilitate a murder-for-hire scheme.According to NFLPA records, Sullivan currently represents Packers running back Ina Liaina, 49ers receiver Brandon Carswell, free-agent receiver Cole McKenzie, free-agent cornerback Traye Simmons, free-agent defensive tackle Aaron Tipoti, free-agent safety Kenronte Walker, and draft-eligible defensive back Terrance Mitchell.Sullivan, who also briefly represented Missouri defensive end Michael Sam in January, works for The Novo Agency, which is run by veteran agent Jeff Sperbeck.
