I thought this tweet from Andrew Brandt and Rich Eisen was interesting.
The Bucs, like a lot of NFL teams, are hiring the same search firm every NFL team seems to user (Korn-Ferry).
Even if its an in-bred decision, anything that takes the ball out of the hands of Licht & the Glazers is a plus. But there are also some obvious negatives.
The big thing I'd say is there is a perception perpetuated by the NFL media that hiring is a rigorous, all-about-winning process. It's not. It's just as often about hiring friends and politically savvy coaches.
