Totally agree with his assessment on Zuttah. Had a good year playing next to two scrubs. Also agree on Lorig. I have no idea why he gets so much love around here. He sucks as a FB. He also nailed Glennon. Top rate backup or below average starter is where he projects.
Was about to post this. Very extensive, FWIW
Manziel/Bridgewater/Bortles @ 7!
Thanks for posting...excellent read!
Pretty cool. Probably the closest any of us have been to actual NFL level correspondence.

Agreed and agreed.
Great read. Probably most surprising was his high opinion of Gorrer.
Still not sold on Foster as the MLB moving forward in the Lovie Smith defense...

More than not sold, I just don't think it'll work. He's a SAM in his scheme, IMHO; I think we are starting from scratch at MLB more so than at DE.

If Erin Henderson is brought in, you'd have to think he could provide competition for MLB and perhaps SLB as well.Found this in a Pro Football Focus article from 2012:Last offseason, the Vikings, firmly up against the cap, decided to let Ben Leber walk in free agency and Erin Henderson wound up with the starting gig. He was lined up as the weakside linebacker, next to his older brother, with Chad Greenway on the strong side, but in the Vikings’ scheme, he played far more like a traditional strong side linebacker, often up at the line of scrimmage and attacking blockers rather than flowing to the football.
In summary: We need a starting caliber QB, FB, slot WR, big TE that can block to go with Wright, an OG (maybe 2 if Nicks is done), DE, DT, SLB or MLB (if Foster moves to SLB), and possibly a FS if we want to unload Goldson or at least add depth behind him. I will also throw in a punter.QB: Glennon is a good backup and maybe a low end starter but not much more.RB: The Bucs are loaded with Martin, James, and RaineyFB: Lorig is not a very good FB and we definitely need an upgradeTE: Wright is a very good pass catcher and has a chance to develop into a #1 TE. He blocks okay for his size but if he can add bulk that might help. He has a bright future. The rest are bad.WR: Jackson is a very good receiver. Williams is a very good #2 WR and is better when playing outside. Underwood has great speed but runs poor routes. Has a chance to be a #3 WR at best and is somewhat limited in how you can use him. The team needs a slot WR to go with these 3.C: Zuttah is a decent center but only backup quality at guard. In Tedford's offense, Zuttah might fit his scheme well.OG: Nicks is a stud and one of the best guards when healthy but will he ever be healthy. Joseph has strong skills but horrible technique and instincts. He's more of a downhill blocker and struggled in zone. He's has a chance to be an above average starter, but his execution leaves much to be desired. The rest suck. OT: Penn is a solid LT that had a down year but it might be time to start looking to replace him. Dotson is an average RT...not great...but serviceable.DE: Clayborn is a very solid starter with room to grow. Gholston is a good backup that has starting potential. Means is an okay prospect but has a ways to go. The rest all suck.DT: McCoy is one of the best DTs in the league (we all knew this). Spence is decent and has room to grow but he needs some coaching. Other than that...our DTs aren't good.OLB: David is a stud and a Pro Bowler. Watson can be starting caliber. Hayward is great on Special Teams...but not much more than a backup LB.MLB: Foster is a good LB but is better against the rush than in coverage. Might be a better fit at SLB but is still good enough at MLB if we can't get an upgrade.CB: Revis is a stud. Banks is a good starting caliber CB and will only get better. Johnson is a decent nickle and Gorrer has a similar build to Banks and has potential to be a starting CB.S: Barron is a very good SS. Goldson is playing out of position at FS and would be better suited for SS. Very good against the run but blew some plays in coverage. If used right, he can be a good player but Barron is better. Not much depth other than Tandy but he's more of a special teams guy.
Yup. That's glennon in a nutshell. Average and boring as hell.
I thought they undersold Dotson a little, but I think everything else was spot on and great to read.
Thanks for the article Unemployed Public Relations guy !!
