His contract includes $18M guaranteed. He got $9M of it in 2013 and he'll get $9M of it this year. Whether he is on our roster or not.....he gets $9M. I don't think there is any chance of us moving on from Goldson before 2015.
Correct - the $9 million in dead money is there regardless. The zero means that he won't cost extra or save any money on the cap. In 2015 we could save $8 million by cutting him, so I don't expect him to be around long.
That's pretty much what we said like three pages ago. He's a good player, just not worth that kinda jack.
