Here are 2 good OC candidates that I would love to see the Bucs interview, regardless of who the coach is next season. Norv and Chan haven't had great success as head coaches, but both have been terrific OCs. Turner was the Browns OC under Chudzinski this year, and Gailey sat out this year, despite receiving multiple coaching position offers. I believe that both of these guys have worked with Wannstedt in the past. Perhaps if Schiano is retained, he could move Wanny to DC and hire one of these guys to be the OC?My guess is that Schiano will be fired. In that case, I'd like to see Ken Whisenhunt as HC/OC. If we can't get Whisenhunt, I could live with a defensive minded coach like Lovie Smith if he brought in Turner or Gailey as his OC.
WE WANT GRUDEN! WE WANT GRUDEN! WE WANT GRUDEN! WE WANT GRUDEN! WE WANT GRUDEN! WE WANT GRUDEN! WE WANT GRUDEN!
Glazers probably want both as HC though.
Wel you can't have Gruden so get over it.
I would love to see what Gruden could do with Glennon and the talent we have on this team. But, neither Jon nor Jay Gruden will be coming here.
Love to see Norv for sure. Always like his offense and that offense in CLE with the dumpster fire of QB's they had was still 15th in the NFL.
McNulty is the OC in waiting....the sooner you guys realize that, the easier it'll be to deal with the disappointment

Really bad WR's for Gruden's scheme - not the kind of route runners we'd want in his system.

This is about dreaming. This is 11:45pm at the bar, not 2:00am.
enough with these old school coaches… isn't it obvious that the NFL has changed to a more up tempo and fast pace type?..lets get a (hot) younger coordinator from a good team (that's willing to play the type of game that's being played now days). to take over if we decide to let go of coach Schiano
Would love Turner

SF and SEA are not fast up tempo teams...the thing isn't that you have to be all spread formation and no huddle but that you can't have the mindset that you can run and dominate NFL teams on the ground. That doesn't happen. The run is a weapon but it is a subsidiary of the passing attack. You don't have to throw like mad but you'd better pass well when you do pass. That is what SEA and SF do at their best. Throw well, build a lead and then run out the clock. There is nothing wrong with that but what Rutgers wants to do is pound the ball down the field and then take some long shots. That is an offense that won't work because it is a low percentage system. Too boom or bust. Anyone who thinks that:Punting is okWe want to keep it close and win in Q4Should never be an NFL HC again.
Gruden still lives in Tampa. So does Dungy. Just saying.
Gruden coming back would bring swagger!!!!!
