If the story we're being given is true, that the Bucs are happy with their O-Line and in particular they're OT's, it's a mistake imo. This is a big year for Donovan Smith. His first 2 years I'd have to say are somewhere between a mixed bag and a disappointment. He's a very good run blocker, which is nice for your LT, and as a pass blocker he has his strengths. Unfortunately his weaknesses are hard to hide if the Bucs run game isn't going, and his penalties have been killers both his 2 years. Dotson, on the other hand, didn't play much at all 2 years ago, and then had a disappointing season last year.

Now you don't just draft a guy to draft a guy. They have to be an upgrade, but if I'm not buying the smokescreen, then the Bucs shouldn't think anyone's buying it (and I really hope it's a smokescreen ...). If there is a Tackle you like, don't risk it, spend a little more if you have to.

A side note to that. I'm really surprised that everyone is mocking Bolles as late as they are, as the top rated tackle in the class. I don't think he'll be there at 19, but if he is, that would be the pick for me.
