As a backup he's exactly what you want. He can move the football. He's not dynamic and he's not a starter but the again that is why you sign him as a backup.
Would rather have Matt Schaub after the Texans cut him
I would rather have Vick
I would take Cassel of Glennon. Glennon sucks.

Agreed. Not sure what his price will be, but he might just be happy to stay in the NFL after the 2013 Texan meltdown...
Hell no to Cassell. The only thing that would make me happy about it is that it would mean Vick isn't coming here.He only won a handfull of games in KC in the years he was there. Orlovski could get you 2 wins out of 16.

He's better than Cassel tho

In 2010, he was 10-5 with the Chiefs. In 2011 he was 4-4 before getting injured. In 2008, he went 11-5 with the Patriots. The Vikings won five games last year. Cassel was the starting QB or came in to rally the team for all five wins. As a starter, he's 32-36 over his career. No one is saying he's great, but he can win in the league and he can come in and keep the team competitive. That's exactly what teams are looking for in a backup.
I agree that Cassel would be a great addition and be able to really push Glennon. But he's not a franchise-caliber QB.He opted out of his contract in Minnesota which would have paid him $3.7 million next season. I doubt we'd be offering him more than that to be our backup? Not happening.
Frazier ? What the hell does Frazier have to do with it ? Tedford will make the call who he thinks he needs running his offense , not the D-Coordinator.
That's why I don't buy this at all.
Cassel would be a good backup, but we already have a good backup with glennon.Unless we're planning on trading glennon for ammo for a move up there really is no reason to sign cassel.
If you don't think Glennon is a starter then all getting Cassell does is give you two backups. And I couldn't even make sense of the OP, just the names Cassell and Frazier in the same jumble of words that only bore a vague resemblance to a sentence...where is this idea even coming from?
Cassell would be better than Glennon that's for sure. I am all for bringing in a better player.
