Interesting move for both Gruden and the Saints.
Well he's known for being offensive.
He is in a consultant role with the team.
Solid friendship between Derek carr and He
let’s face it, he doesn’t owe the Bucs anything since they kicked him out of the ring of honor
Gruden is washed and he comes with baggage.

he was terrible at evaluating talent. Feel like Bruce Allen was his puppet but they couldn’t draft talent
but as I said before, they were playing meaningful games in December with him. Aside from 2004 and 2006, every season was in the running. It was exciting time to be a fan.
the 10 years after him? Maybe we had 2 seasons in the playoff hunt falling short but in most cases meaningful football was over by Halloween
let’s see how the non Brady years go
Lovie was also a competitive coach at one point.
Times change

Times change
not for us he wasn’t
and I’m not arguing to bring gruden back lol
just saying times haven’t been that great “or bright” other than the Brady years
but as I said before, they were playing meaningful games in December with him.
You meant Monte Kiffin.
I like Gruden, but many this is a Gruden fans description of his tenure

2003 - - MISSED PLAYOFFS - team in total disarray, largely because of Gruden forcing out McKay etc.
2004 -- MISSED PLAYOFFS again . . . with a TON of talent
2005 - this is a playoff year BUT its also the year that totally ENDED GRUDEN because he made a late pivot and took Caddy over . . . Aaron Rodgers. He did that IN PART because "Bruce Allen was his puppet"
2006 -- MISSED PLAYOFFS
2007, - made playoffs BUT barely in a division with every other team sub .500 and knocked out 1st round
2008 - MISSED PLAYOFFS

and the point I’m making that in even in 2003 and 2008, albeit terrible endings, we were playing meaningful football in December
give whoever you want credit (as I’m sure we can give Bowles credit for the 2020 Super Bowl run) but under Gruden as head coach is something we would only dream of from 2009 to 2019

Wasn't it Gruden who said Lameis Jameis wINsTon was the most NFL-ready QB he'd ever seen?

Again…because of Monte
This isn’t hard…even for you.

Understood. But talking strictly head coach regimes cuz. I’m sure you can comprehend
