Before we drafted Jameis, I spent months researching all the allegations against him from his days in Tallahassee. It's quite obvious he was not only given preferential treatment by everyone: staff, coaches, boosters, family, teammates, students. When you are young, considered the star of a national football program, Heisman candidate, future NFL quarterback, and leading a National Championship caliber program you have no reason to mature. Let's be honest here. When you were 18, 19, 20 and if you had all these people saying how you are one of a kind, special, invincible, sky is the limit....how much would you mature?

That was evident after his F her in the P incident in the student center. Him being suspended for the half was a slap on the wrist, but at the minimum it made him shut his mouth for the rest of his time there.

Let's go to the crab legs incident. Watching the video footage, he didn't hide the crab legs at all. He didn't look around acting like a thief. He casually walked out assuming there was not a problem. Jameis claims that someone had told him previously at the seafood counter that anytime he wanted free food, he would hook him up. According to Winston, he gave them to him for free, but someone else at the Publix observed him leaving without going through the cashiers so they reported it to management. The video really makes me feel this is true. However, the person who gave him the legs have never admitted this. I assume because he didn't want to lose his job. This is an example, again, of him being enabled by people around him.

Let's get to the damning accusation. The rape accusation at FSU. When I read the reports, and it was really well covered in the local news, I thought to myself that it was certainly possible this happened. Darby was there in the apartment and sided with Winston. Casher, who was also in the apartment, said he didn't remember seeing her or something like that. There was a lot of questions that I had, such as why tell her friends and not her mother or someone in her family first. She was drinking in a group of friends before a friend of hers that was on the football team showed up. Was she drunk or did Jameis somehow slip her a date rape drug (I am not saying her being drunk makes it her fault, I am saying she claims she was drugged when it's more likely she was just drunk.) She wanted to meet Jameis and the other players in his entourage. She changed the story about that evening before the alleged rape. She said she was drinking with friends first. She said she had one drink and left. She said her friend introduced her when she saw Jameis in the bar. She said she was leaving when Jameis and friends showed up and forced her to stay. I can see why this wasn't pursued as a criminal charge. That said, if he did rape her, Darby was an enabler.

Which comes to this incident. Darby was again with him. Darby defended him again. Another sexual assault allegation. Maybe Jameis needs new friends, or maybe he needs to just kick Darby out of his life. In any case, this doesn't look good.

The table thing, the crab legs incident I believe Jameis version. The rape and assault, not so much. Makes me wonder what Darby has in his closet, or maybe Darby is one of those people who act like your friend and then talk you into doing bad things.
