i was looking at the draft order today and think we can fleece someone for a minor trade just based off of who is slotted where.
assuming that nobody swings a wild trade in front of us we should be able to play the Giants and Jax against eachother for the right to take a QB first. all of the teams ahead of us possess a QB as well as critical talent deficiencies at key positions. assuming nobody else gets wild with offers they should take BPA guys and go after elite players (Quinnen Williams, Josh Allen, Clellin Ferrell). every single one of those teams is linked to an elite DL need at this moment.
we also possess that need but we also need more picks. if its me i float the possibility that we might take Dwayne Haskins in case Winston melts and try to force NYG and Jax to panic and flip spots with us. depending on how desperate they feel we could parlay it into a free 2nd rounder which given the depth of certain positions in this draft could really benefit our roster
dropping to 7 (Jax) still gives us an easy shot at one of Deandre Baker, Greedy Williams, Jonah Williams, Devin White, Jeffrey Simmons, Ed Oliver etc
