The only changes I see us(hopefully) & realistically making barring a trade & players returning is punter and o line.
has braswell even played? Only been 3 weeks but I can’t think of him being involved at all.
im as frustrated as anyone after Denver but even getting one back of goedeke awj vea and kancey if not 2 should help immensely.
That did happen a couple time today, but not all seven sacks.
Here was Queipo's breakdown:
Wirfs - 2 pressures
Bredeson - 5 pressures, 1 sack
Barton - 3 pressures, 1 sack
Mauch - 5 pressures, 2 sacks
Skule - 4 pressures
Baker - 3 pressures, 3 sacks
Other - 3 pressures, 1 sack
Thanks for posting. It more or less mirrors what I saw in real-time. Mauch was horrendous. Skule was bad, but nowhere near as bad as last week. Barton missed a DT stunting around him. And Mayfield was as big of a problem as everybody else.
I didn't notice Bredeson was that bad, but I was mostly watching the right side. That's disconcerting, as is Wirfs' lapse in play since getting his coin.
13 pressures and 4 sacks right up the middle? Not sure what a QB is to do lol

Aside from Baker’s personal fluffer on here, we all had a pretty good idea that this is what the end numbers would look like.
Agree with you on nearly all of this:
- Wirfs has been disappointing this year thus far.
- Mauch needs to be replaced. Absolutely abysmal play
I mean, we need Goedeke back in the worst way. But, the iOL (minus Barton for the most part) has been ass even with him in.
As FireBowles mentioned, Coen deserves some criticism as well. At this point, his first down run rate has to on par with Dave’s from last year. And, didn’t do much to try and scheme around the issues we’re having.
Those sacks are about what I expected... I thought Baker was responsible for 2, but 3 could be right.
I don't think Barton has played well but he's also got 2 absolute TARDS lining up on either side at guard.
I watched a little tape and Baker missed a good amount... Probably because he was high on his own supply trying to scramble too much.
Coen was predictable and failed to create any rhythm.
I will be looking for a bunch of screens next week vs the eagles... Either bubble screens to Godwin or rb screens to White/Bucky.
And more PA on first down. If you're going to run it that much on first you better be setting up PA.
the whole defensive line?
JBF has a video of a 4 man "rush" yikes
interesting
Pro Football Focus (PFF) revealed the top five graded offensive players for Tampa Bay in the loss.
Left tackle Tristan Wirfs led the group with an impressive overall grade of 85.2, including a run-blocking grade of 88.9.
Running back Bucky Irving earned a 78.6 grade, highlighted by his 76.8 rushing grade,
receiver Chris Godwin, who scored the team’s lone touchdown, posted a 74.6 grade.
Center Graham Barton and right guard Cody Mauch rounded out the top performers, with solid run-blocking contributions
I don't think Barton has played well
I disagree completely. I think he's been really good in the first three games, considering he's switching from Left Tackle in college to Center in the NFL. Those are two very different positions in two very different leagues.
That's not to say he's been perfect, because he hasn't. He missed a dude stunting around him, which is something he's going to need to learn from. I expected him to struggle quite a bit early-on with the position change and everything that goes along with being Center, but I've been very impressed with his play thus far.
You see your boy JPJ has yet to start and has moved to OG for the Raiders?
Love Barton, he may not have his NFL tool belt filled out completely, but he’s more ready than most coming out.
Most of the starting offensive line struggled in the Denver game, Barton was no exception. One game doesn’t make the season. Until this game, he’s been ahead of schedule. The better the competition, the quicker he will learn.
He does seem to struggle some with delayed twists & stunts. He’s gut great reaction time, quick feet, strong, big but agile, and smart.

I did. Very odd. Not sure what to make of it tbh... But their line has looked bad so how can he possibly not be getting playing time? Maybe he's not picking up the scheme.
As far as Graham, he's looked meh to me but it's hard to judge because the interior line gets blown up every play... Zero push. And he's in that chaos so I might be lumping him into that mess unfairly.

Every time I read pff I chuckle. I take their assessments with a grain for salt.
Wirfs getting a 85 grade is crazy to me. He's been pretty bad so far this year from the eyeball test but I haven't watched the tape.
One thing I've always wondered about pff... Does it take into account who they are playing against?
So if Wirfs is given up pressure to practice squad players, does that grade the same as giving up a sack to TJ Watt (all else being completely equal)?
And when I say "pretty bad" I mean to his standard and contract. Clearly he's one of our best players

I know the injury set him back a little. He's played decently when he got in there, but there has to be some reason he isn't starting.

But he came in late during the blowout last week.
I'm guessing he's not grasping the offense yet
