Plenty to like as camp comes to close      Published: August 22, 2015 TAMPA — The Buccaneers wrapped up three weeks of training camp Saturday, marked by big crowds, good fortune on the injury front and typically oppressive August weather.“I’ve been happy with the way things have been coming together,’’ GM Jason Licht said after the Bucs staged a two-hour practice closed to the public. “Our offense is looking more and more crisp, particularly in the red zone. The fan response has been incredible and you can feel a buzz around here.’’With only six players in camp 30 or older, Tampa Bay remains one of the league’s youngest teams.“We’re a young club and we keep saying we’ll take some lumps, you always do with young guys, but right now they’re stepping up in their roles,’’ Licht said. “It’s encouraging to know the future looks bright.’’Play of the daySecond-year WR Mike Evans enjoyed a productive afternoon, highlighted by a 50-yard bomb he caught down the left sideline as he was led perfectly by rookie QB Jameis Winston.Quote of the day“Kwon has done everything we’ve asked him to do, but he’s a rookie and there’s a lot of plays he needs to see. Step 2 coming up.’’— Bucs coach Lovie Smith on Kwon Alexander, a fourth-round pick out of LSU who is expected to start at middle linebacker in Monday night’s preseason game against the Bengals.Winston watchRookie QB Jameis Winston looked particularly sharp Saturday and his timing with WRs Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson, and TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins continues to improve. He should play at least into the second quarter Monday night against Cincinnati.
