So overall I would say the Bucs as a team accomplished what they wanted to do on all three phases of the football.
Starting with the offense I would say Grizzard called a solid game with a nice mix of run and pass. A lot more intermediate routs in the mix while still keeping intact last year's offensive identity to control the clock and move the chains.
The 2nd string OL seemed shaky at times but as the game went along they found their groove. Other than the Trask coverage sack where the Titans did a good job and Trask held too long the OL pass pro seemed competent. There was a botched snap that can not be overlooked but that is what pre season is for.
Speaking of Trask he seemed in full command of the offense and engineered multiple scoring drives. Being able to to throw to players like Egbuka and McMillan is levels better than what Trask is used to. But Miller was his familiar face and Miller shined. I would not be surprised if Miller sticks because he can be an emergency inline TE too.
Greene looks like a nice project and I hope the Bucs stash him on the PS as he has a nice upside.
Tucker showing that explosion as always and Wright showing that he is an NFL veteran ready to go.
Culp, Jarrett, and Harris were in the mix too. But Harris made too many mistakes to overcome. Might still redeem himself for PS.
Chukwuma seems to be progressing nicely at LT and Jordan was alright at RT.
Defensively, the 2s held their own against the Titans 1s. With the exception of Ridley the Titans really didn't do much offensively as a total team effort.
Parrish had a crash course lesson about NFL talent and Ridley definitely showed him what was up.
Beyond that I felt the defensive 2s could have made more plays in the first half but it was okay but I felt that Hayes should have came up that INT to stall the Titans drive.
Second half, the defense came alive with splash plays.
Nick Jackson is a nice find as he is always around the football, forced a sack and INT. Honorable mention to Bullock for a heads up play too and Grier deserves some mention for his short yardage stop.
Honestly these three young LBs deserve a roster spot and not sure why Walker Jr is hogging up a roster spot at the moment.
Roberts, Wisdom and Sanders were around the football flying around. But Funderburk came in clutch when it mattered most with an INT. Same with the rookie Parodie's pick six.
And then a sack from Peeples who is outshining Watts and Ramirez with limited playing time already.
New punter Dixon is on point.
