Alright, I am going to drop my QB plan I have been considering over the past couple of days. My plan is regardless if Gruden or Koetter is coach. At this point, I am hoping Koetter/Licht stay. I was dangerously close to jumping ship had they lost that last game though.

Jameis Winston-Best case scenario here is a lengthy suspension for Winston IMO. I am guessing six game minimum, maybe a season if something is proven to have happened. I think ultimately this thing will shake out with no real definitive solution, NFL hits Jameis with that six game suspension. Worst case scenario is that it's proved, Winston is guilty and he had Ron Darby lie for him. At that point, regardless of suspension, its time to move on from Winston. So, no matter what, Winston is out for a large portion of next year. Below is my plan based on the likely outcome of gray area with a looming suspension for 2018, but also a contingency in case this thing hasn't played itself out by the draft.

1. Sign Case Keenum. Case has destroyed us the last few years, and has been playing decent football. I think he would probably be one of the best experienced QBs available that would probably thrive with the weapons on this team.

2. Spend a second or third rounder on a QB. Find a young guy that can get the ball out of his hands and has decent accuracy as an insurance policy. If Jameis comes back in 2018, I would trust the coaching staff to make the call on who to play for the remainder of the season. In 2019, young guy and Jameis can compete for the job. If this thing gets real ugly, then you can move on from Jameis and let Keenum/new guy compete for 2019.

Thoughts?
