RappUp Tim Spencer, BTW, told me he's planning to rejoin Lovie Smith in Tampa next season.Retweeted by NFL Philosophy http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Spencer_(American_football)
@alexmarvez 51mSource tells @FOXSports that new @TBBuccaneers head coach Lovie Smith has fired all assistants from previous staff
“@GilArciaTBC: According to @alexmarvez, sources tell Fox Sports #Bucs will name Southern Miss OC Marcus Arroyo as QBs coach.”“@BradBiggs: Look for #Bucs and Lovie Smith to hire Kevin O'Dea as special teams coordinator. O'Dea has worked for Smith in Chicago, and in Tampa before.”“@GilArciaTBC: .@RappUp reports former Bears RB coach Tim Spencer will hold same title with the #Bucs. That'll rest any talks of a possible return of Byner”
Arroyo was Tedford's passing game coordinator at Cal.

Former QB at San Jose State....Has no experience at the pro-level. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marcus_Arroyo
I feel like we are moving to a spread with the hiring of Arroyo and Tedford. Could be very fun to watch.
Growing a little concerned with the lack of NFL experience with some of the offensive coaches. Have to wait and see.
You'd think the way the RBs and LBers played last season we'd have at least kept the few bright spots from the coaching staff.
Dave Wanstadt did an excellent job at Special Teams. Would have kept him myself. And very sorry to see Dom go. Think he did a great job under the circumstances....understand it wasn't his stime any more tho. Still too bad.

Didn't Lovie, Rod and Herm come out of the college ranks on the same day for Dungy? The offense Tedford runs is one copied by the pro game to a great degree. The college aspect of the hire shouldn't be a problem.

I have no concern with LBers when Lovie is our coach lol.

Our offense has no where near the talent that the Bucs D had back then. Also, Herm played at the Pro Level. Not so much concerned about Tedford as I am Arroyo. Kid has bounced around, has never played at the Pro Level and will be responsible for making Mike Glennon (or a drafted QB) the Man.

Yeah because the head coach should be spending time loads of time focusing on the LBers rather than the whole team.
Since Tedford can coach a QB, not too worried about the "official" QB coach. I actually wondered if he'd even hire one... HC's generally like to bring in guys they or their top assistants have worked with in the past. That helps develop chemistry with the coaching staff much more quickly, not to be underated...
When it comes to an individual position coach, lack of NFL experience isn't nearly the issue that it is as you move up the coaching ladder. Coaching an individual position is about teaching, and that was something Tony Dungy put an emphasis on: hiring position coaches who were good teachers. When you become a coordinator or a HC, that pro-level experience becomes a bigger deal.
