This latest mock draft by Jared Dubin of CBS demonstrates why a trade down could be a bad idea. He has the Bucs trading with the Redskins. They are trading down a mere six spots, but those six spots cost the Bucs possibly all of the top guys on their draft board. Gary, Sweat, White, Oliver gone in consecutive order before the Bucs pick Burns. I think its pretty realistic. A trade down only works if you think some players you want are going to slide to you. In this instance other teams snapped up a lot of the top guys before the Bucs turn came around again.
