We all want to fire the coaches, the players the gm, the owners. ..but I think we all know its not happening. So lets look at this rationally. I know many are not able to do this, but oh well.As unpopular as it sounds, I think stay the course is the best plan.OFFENSE - its a fact, losing your oc the first week of the season is backbreaking.we do need an elite qb. But I don't think it's the most pressing need. We have solid talent. Maybe not great talent, but certainly solid. Stay the course. Fingers crossed tedford comes back and this year isnt a total waste. We just invested big into the ol, we have young talent at the skill positions.let them grow.DEFENSE - just look at Dallas and I think you can see the progression of a new defense. It took at least half a year for hall of fame guys to be proficient regarding sapp and co., it takes some time. We still need more talent though. We need elite at re and mlb. Draft those positions high. Move mj to le and gholston becomes solid depth.find a coverage safety in fa. We need more depth/talent at cb. Releasing goldson should free up cap space to make it happen. Then comes the big decisions. Qb & mccoy. Id be happy with competent at qb, but we all yearn for elite. Unfortunately, its not a slam dunk. Im not a fan of using a #1 just to say we tried. There is a lot of potential with the incoming qbs, but just as many questions. With mccoy, I honestly wouldn't mind trading him for a #1 but realize it's not realistic. What is realistic is letting him go. It does sound blasphemy to many, and I have argued against it. But using that cap space on versatile guys might be a better route. Mike Bennett is the poster child for this.a guy that can apply pressure inside and out and has a strong motor. Still not easy to find these guys and you also have to find the pass rushing outside specialist. It is a route though, and wed have money to do it.Its not popular, but stay the course. Rome wasn't built overnight
