If he gets back in the league with his argument that he's being punished twice for the same offense, would you want him on the team?I hate wife-beaters with a passion... but in all fairness, it looked like (in the video) that his wife was throwing blows at him first. Thats no excuse for such a large, powerful man to knock a woman out... but it makes it a little more acceptable in my eyes. I feel that a man should never hit a woman UNLESS the woman is hitting him. If you're man enough to hit a man... then you're man enough to get hit by a man.That being said, he didn't have to knock her out. He could have just slapped her across the elevator or pinned her against the wall to stop her attack. What he did was wrong... but is it so wrong that we as fans can't get over it and welcome him to our team? He is human... and he will make mistakes like the rest of us.Besides, if he gets back in, SOMEONE will sign him. Might as well be us. Our running game isn't all that great. Our #1 running back sucks... and our #2 is decent but not anywhere near the level of Ray Rice. Imagine having an elite RB like Rice with a decent RB like Rainey backing him up.We need to dump Martin off on someone else IMO.
