i am sure you have never been happier to be wrong!
me too. i had us at 2-2 at this point, best case
Lions will be tough and likely favored in our game but if we can stop the run, i think we can take them. Atlanta is a must win regardless
we have 2 sure fire losses on the schedule - @ Buffalo and @49ers. Other than that, we should have a chance at each game on our way hopefully to a 10 win playoff birth

You got that right!

Agree on tough. Looks like their rookie TE has been a big part of the offense. Not sure we are that great defending TEs.
Seems like the Lions aren’t really great at anything but have a well rounded team? Not sure
I guess the big surprise has been their defense, so good test for the Bucs
"Through yesterday’s NFL games, the Bucs rank second in the league in takeaways per game at 2 1/2. Only Buffalo is better."
can they win without the turnovers?
Well, Dag Gumm! we beat the Aints!!

Since we have our injured defensive players healthy for this game, I believe we can beat them without turnovers. However, with a healthy D I think we will get at least 1 TO. Especially with Kancey and Vea providing pressure up the middle.
I think last year’s Bucs were 3-2 when they went on a bad run of losses. Leftwich was to blame.
Canales is currently underperforming Leftwich but even after a tough loss to the Lions aren’t the current Bucs headed up?
Anyone rethinking their earlier predictions?

no. I still think we should be 4-2 after Atlanta game.
i had only guaranteed losses as 49ers and buffalo. Now I’d like to add Jacksonville to that.
Detroit was disappointing but to your point. It’s how the team responds.
Will they respond like they did after eagles blowout with big division win? Or will this team pull a last year with wheels falling off
I think they respond well
Even if the team makes the playoffs (because of a weak division) it will get bounced out. But, thats still more than most would've expected
We will lose to the Falcons. I'll gladly eat crow if we win but the blue print is out on this offense. Can't run and half of the field is available when we pass.

I hope not!
I am not sure the "blue print is out" because we had some receivers running wide open.
As far as the the running game, we had a few decent runs against a very good Lions run defense. Its more that the (very slowly) improving run game was very, very inconsistent, so anything good was offset by negative plays and penalties.
I think the Lions loss is more about missed opportunities, at least through the first half or so. If the early interception is not tipped (Mayfield height and/or guard being blown up) Evans is off to the races and we are quickly on top. Someone posted about Otton's weak effort blocking for Thompkins. Palmer was wide open, Evans dropped a pass and then an OPI . . .
I think they'll be 3-4 through October, which is your question
Bravo
Week 1 @Vikings - WIN
Week 2 vs Bears - WIN
week 3 vs Eagles - LOSS
Week 4 @ Saints - LOSS
Week 5 vs Lions - WIN
Week 6 vs Falcons - WIN
Week 7 - @Buffalo - LOSS
4-3
and as Traskforce has suggested, 3-4 wins is enough to keep us in running
Pretty close
