These reflections come with only having watched the game live.1.  To me the turning point of the game came in the second quarter.  Game was still in doubt and the Eagles had the ball at midfield.  On third down, McCoy beats a one on one block and takes Sanchez down, forcing them to punt.  Seemed like that took all the steam out of the Eagles.  Scott Reynolds has called upon McCoy to make some big plays.  Even as it could be lost amidst everything else, his was a huge game changer in my opinion.2.  Cornerbacks continue to get better.  We still gave up some slants or turn in routes, but even at that the linebackers seemed to be in better position.  Defenses will always have to give up something, but today what beat us was the screen early on.  From watching it live however, the touchdown just happened to be the perfect call with us slanting to the right.  I think Lavonte David had the back but went the wrong way.  What everyone should be thrilled with, however, is that later on the coaches and/or the player made adjustments and shut it down.3.  Could not believe but was absolutely ecstatic when Philly kicked their field goals.  Up to then even as we were up by 24 I kept doing the math in my head for us to lose.  However, to kick a field goal rather than go for it on 4th down was a coach letting down his team and fans.  They literally surrendered the game.  Terrible coaching job by Chip Kelly.4.  As impressive as Doug Martin's 53 yard run in the first quarter was the play call.  We are so fortunate to have Koetter.  The Eagles were loaded for bear up the middle.  Clearly they were expecting a run up the middle.  Instead, Tampa fakes one way before flipping the ball back the other way, catching Philly totally off guard.  That's the first time it was called all season, and don't tell me he didn't see something on tape, as he ran it later on.  Question:  could anyone see us running that play last season?5.  It's official.  Lovie Smith refuses to run the quarterback sneak all season.6.  Love our offense on the whole, and I understand the reasoning,  but after we got the turnover with 6 minutes or so left in the game, I hated us throwing the ball on second and third down.  We had a chance to get rid of two timeouts or take two minutes off the clock.  Instead, it gave the Eagles the ball back with only 15 seconds off the clock.  7.  That touchdown pass to Charles Sims.  Incredible pass between two defenders or terrible decision that happened to work to perfection?  Would love to know what you all think.
