Signed a new QB..he is 34 not 44..We have a decent QB that played ok in a horrible situation being groomed..as our back up and possible air apparent..good young back up..The blueprint for our own (bucs) success in 2002 came with mediocrity at QB and a ferocious defense..the blueprint for NFL success..seahawks and Ravens super bowl winners the last two years came with mediocrity (ok..Russell WIlson was better than average..but they are a running team) and a ferocious D..Who wants to draft a QB and wait?..Im sure Lovie and Licht, want to and need to win sooner than later...The premier QBs (brees, manning, Brady, maybe Luck) Do give you a significant advantage..however, I do not think any of these guys are no manning or luck cant miss types..Trade down..add defense..add offensive line, mash the ball..get your receiver..Traded down in 95 from 7th to tenth...picked up sapp...and then traded up for brooks..(draft changed bucs history forever)this year we trade from 7th to 10th pick up Donald....and then...??Defense ..defense..defense...
