PFT reports that Albert Breer of SI lists the Bucs as one of three teams that "have shown interest" in moving up. So there you go. Those who say that Licht won't move up in the 1st because he hasn't done so in the past might want to take note. This reporter is saying otherwise.
The Broncos and Falcons are the other two teams mentioned. They mention that the Broncos could also be looking to move up from 15 to nab one of the tackles. That doesn't even mention the Dolphins who unloaded their franchise tackle and have ample ammunition to move wherever they want.
It should be clear, as I've tried to point out before, that waiting at 14 for good fortune to fall on us is not a strategy. If they want one of the Big 4 they have to move up. If they don't want to move up, they might as well plan on moving down for a 2nd Tier tackle. There is little reason to stay at 14.
.
All you guys doing the mock draft program and getting Wills or Becton at 14 thats laughable. That isn't going to happen. Apparently the t realize this, and so they are exploring what price is going to be. I'd like to see the Bucs move up, but if there is going to be a bidding war with Denver or other teams to drive up the price then maybe it would just be better to move down.
