On the recent podcast SR laid out the case how bad the drafts have been since the Super Bowl and Barber blew it off saying something like “ I can’t criticize Licht”.
In 2021 we could have had Creed Humphrey and ASRB. Instead we got JTS, Hainsey and Darden.
In 2022 we could have had Trey McBride, instead we got Logan Hall and Cade Otton.
We couldn’t block Frankie Luvu and Zach Allen when they played for Carolina and Arizona respectively. We didn’t sign them because?
Barton and Braswell are disaster picks.
I cant stand when people go back to previous drafts and say WE COULD HAVE HAD HIM, as if the same can be said about every other team in the league. ASRB was a 4th round pick. The Lions passed over him multiple times as well. Not defending those picks because they didn't hit, but not lets not act like they haven't hit on some players in that span either. While we're at it, why don't we go through every single draft pick since 2020 and point to every single good player from rounds 1-7 and complain because "we could have had him"
Hard to say Barton is a disaster already- he wasn't bad last year and this year has played along side two practice squad guys basically all year.
