No, I do still think that it’s odd, but I’m thinking that there’s more data as we get further beyond his breakout game, and it’s starting to look like a situational/blitz pick-up issue.Again, it’s within the perspective of situational football. There aren’t conspiracies, consistently applied, to keep really productive players OFF the field.
I think it’s situationally driven, I believe coaches can get locked into personnel packages that are favorites. But the idea that certain players (ie, Kyle Trask last season & now Sean Tucker) are being purposely discriminated against for whatever purpose - is just silly.
Like I said before (and you begrudgingly agreed), if Bucky received the same treatment after a 200-yard, multi-TD performance; you would be livid.
And, you’ve already provided your own “conspiracies” talking about possible trade, etc.
The conspiracy you suggest, would be on Coen, your pick as the future HC.
Again, you were buying into your own “conspiracy” on the matter. And, agreed you’d be pissed if the same happened to Bucky.
Odd that you’ve suddenly changed your tune.
Coen has also begun to use him as a fresh horse in the 2nd half. All 3 are similar backs, but White is good in pass & running situations - and is best in pass blocking/blitz pick-up, Bucky is a better pure runner, but also can catch. The plan may have been to gain a lead going into the 2nd half and hit them with a fresh back like Tucker - and there’s ZERO drop off.
Like any good theory, you have to reassess with new data. We are past the trade deadline and Tucker did not get traded.
I don’t think Coen or Bowles have a conspiracy to keep talent in the bench.
They don’t know what they have in Tucker and overrate what they have in Irving.
So Coen is having some problems identifying talent, as well?
Huh.
he looks pretty hot today.
Tucker 0 snaps. Bucs are 0-4 since his 200 yard game

lol exactly
After Evans and Godwin went down I explained why this team should have transformed into a power run team behind Tucker. Right now this running game is SOFT and gimmicky. Thats we couldn’t close these last 2 games out.
Tucker not getting a single fucking snap today is bullshit. White is a receiver not an inside runner
I am a fan of White but is it possible he slides down the chart? Hard to picture him consistently running with the approach we see so far from Irving and Tucker.
Not "sliding down the chart" and no dancing from White - something he improved upon last season unbeknownst to your dumbass.
You're 0/2 here, keeping your lifetime average at .000.
Check in after Week 1: Rachaad White is the starting RB.
Check in after Week 2: Rachaad White is the starting RB.
Check in after Week 3: Rachaad White is the starting RB.
Check in after Week 4: Rachaad White is the starting RB.
Check in after Week 5: Rachaad White is the starting RB.
Check in after Week 6: Rachaad White - Inactive w/Injury. Still #1 on the Depth Chart.
Check in after Week 7: Rachaad White is the starting RB.
I can keep this up, or you can man up and admit you were wrong about "sliding down the chart," White's place on the depth chart was secure in the preseason, and you were unaware that White stopped the dancing last season. That's all it will take, but I'm guessing I'll be making a similar post this time next week.
Check in after Week 8: Rachaad White is the starting RB.
I figured I would be posting this again. Absolutely no shame.
Check in after Week 9: Rachaad White is the starting RB.
Shameless ignoramus.
Check in after Week 10: Rachaad White is the starting RB.
Check in after Week 10:
I can’t believe it’s Week 10 already.
Season has seemed to have flown by.
Maybe it’s just me.

maybe, but at least you came around to this
I agree that we have 3 good backs.
I think that Tucker is the best pure runner. White is the best pass blocker/receiver. And Bucky is a mix of the both, with some elusiveness that the others don't quite have.
from this
I would expect Bucky to get a slightly similar split that Edmunds/Tucker had last season (maybe a little more, as I expect us to run more).
took ten weeks but like you say, they fly by
Biggs, good job
SR addressing snaps for Emmitt Smith
Sean Tucker did not see the field on offense for a single play against the 49ers on Sunday. Part of that had to do with Tampa Bay only having 58 snaps on offense due to a 35.7% conversion rate (5-of-14) on third downs. But I would’ve liked to have seen Tucker at least get a series like he has in each of the last two games versus the Ravens and Chief"
If you look at yesterday's game (I already posted the second half of the Chiefs game) where do you pull White or Irving?

White and Irving ran inside 15 times for 54 yards, 3.6 ypc. Perfect time to unleash Tucker was after one of Moody's missed FG's when we took over at our 40 with under 12 minutes to go up 4. Instead they ran that trickery bullshit with White and Irving and it got blown up in the backfield. 3 and out, SF scored shortly after.

so just taking your timing, you would be pulling White or Irving:
IN THE 4TH QUARTER and
after a TD scoring drive where Irving runs for 8, 14 and 12 (TD) and White rand for 5, 1, 5 8 and caught a 10 yard pass
what you are describing is going AWAY from the HOT HANDS for 3 quarters and you're saying that based on hind ight that has to do with the play calling (ie they punted next series after running "that trickery bullshit)
Not sure if you can see why that probably does not happen in most cases.
It's a little bit like the Chiefs game. You guys are saying there's a conspiracy afoot but where would you actually put him in?

I told you where I would put him and you keep saying I can't put him in there. But yet they keep losing? And when Tucker is in they keep.... scoring.

i am saying that most HC’s don’t pull either White or Irving in that scenario.
you’re saying the Bucs are losing as part of a conspiracy to not playing an Emmitt Smith clone.
The Bucs don’t lose because their two RBs play well enough to keep the 3rd one on the bench. But, because it’s an unknown you can make that claim.
“The Bucs would’ve won yesterday if Scotty Miller was on the team”
okay?

Most head coaches and offensive coordinators would realize that when a guy has played on 11 offensive drives and the offense has SCORED TOUCHDOWNS ON 8 OF THEM that he should play more.
It's not a conspiracy, it's just ignorance.
