Gotta give Mauch his flowers. Massive improvement.
I came here today to post the same thing. He's looked good the last 2-3 games.
So we saw a more defined role.
Bucky is electric.
Tucker was getting short yardage and goal line until his fumble which they're going to hang over his head the rest of the season when Irving and White have worse fumbles.
White leaves too much meat on the bone. If the line gives him 3 he'll get 3. If the line gives him 12 he'll get 12.
Leaving meat on the bone means he's getting 5 when he should get 12... Getting 12 out of 12 isn't leaving meat on the bone lmfao.
Bucky is eating the whole damn chicken tho.
In the 4th qtr the OL gave Bucky 0 and he went for 56.
Vs the Saints Tucker had plays where the OL gave him 3 and he got 10, they gave him 4 and he got 8, they gave him 9 and he got 16, they gave him 5 and he got 15.
I'm making fun of the misuse of the expression because that's not how you use it.
But yes you are correct.
White's style is best used in those bubble screens Bucky was getting so they have a common skill set and Bucky is simply on fire.
So far this season the Bucs have faced the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th and 10th ranked run defenses. The rest of the season?
Car 32nd
LV 13th
LAC 14th
Dal 29th
NO 24th
Car 32nd
We could run ourselves right into the playoffs

I can understand the argument that Irving's fumble was worse, but I'm anxiously anticipating how White's fumble was worse than one on the goal line?

This isn't accurate either. There have been plenty of time that White has had to put his head down and blow through blockers just to get back to the LOS.
Falcon game was the most important game of the year and he opened it with a fumble that led to a Falcons TD.
1. I'm pretty sure there were two Falcons games, so I'm not sure why one is more important than the other.
2. The Bucs not only answered that TD with a TD, but went up 14-7 shortly thereafter. This game wasn't lost on White's fumble.
3. Luckily, Tucker's fumbled bounced around on the turf for what seemed like hours with only Mayfield paying attention.
Fumbling at the goal line is always worse. Ultimately, neither White's or Tuckers's fumble cost the team the game - which is something you can't say for the Irving fumble. The timing of his was much worse than the other two. But like I said in the Gameday thread, RB's fumble. It happens. It's only a problem if it keeps happening.
Unfortunately, there isn’t enough meat on Bucky for pass-blocking or blitz pick-up…White has the edge there, and because of that he can go multiple when he is in - and the defense cant pin their ears back and tee-off on Baker - because White is that match that can burn you twice. So we saw a more defined role.

Coen is using Bucky just right - Tucker gets some action too, but as you say, Bucky’s on fire - you can’t take plays away from White - and you definitely can’t take them away from Bucky - Tucker is often odd man out because the other two are so much better right now.
Great problem to have.
That's why White will be the third down back but I just wanna see them both out there with Godwin out.
Tucker is often odd man out because the other two are so much better right now.
Id love to see Tucker really getting it going because then we'd have some true breakaway speed
Tucker is going to continue to be the odd man out but gets random looks.
It's just what it is... You can't bench Bucky and White deserves snaps too

IF . . big "IF" the Panthers game plays out as the Bucs would want, they would get up early and Tucker would have a heavy role late.
worried about that "IF" though

I think we score at will and defense does just enough
Thought White was playing over Tucker because he was such a great blitz blocker?
Thought White was playing over Tucker because he was such a great blitz blocker?
That’s one of the reasons, yes.

karma that you and some of the other trolls here cannot enjoy a Bucs win.
sweet karma

Name one person who isn't enjoying the win.
One.
Man, the Bucs ran 36 times for 220+ yards.
Canales would be proud ;-)
