Having 1k scrimmage yards and 9 TDs while missing a handful of games and losing carries to Bucky (and a little to Emmitt Smith) isn't useful or important.
Brain dead logic
JC has posted over an over again about Tucker's stats generated MOSTLY in the New Orleans game. In that game, almost half of Tucker's 14 carries and almost half of his yards and a TD occur in a final drive with the Bucs up 3 scores.
Tucker's last drive stats were undeniably "UN-critical" and yet somehow those stats are super relevant, but Whites stats in losses are not.
The mind numbing intellectual dishonesty of the Red Board
Lmfao great point
all the trolls here step on their own Ds because none of it is genuine. Some of them just do it more often and more quickly than the others. :-)
Biggs says White is going to get all the carries, and then trolls for weeks on White is "RB1" because he's the starter . . . only to later say in a different thread "what difference does it make that that guy is the starter" LOL
JC argues for weeks that Tucker is Emmitt Smith based on carries that he would later say dont count for White
etc
etc
etc
Coping or whatever . . to the trolls its about the arguing not the football.
etc etc etc.

Time for some whiskey
In the 8 games we won
Talk a bout a laughable premise. A player ONLY makes key plays in games where the team won??? Good grief, JC.
None of these plays matter -- key first down pickup catches, Td catch etc - because the Bucs lost?

You woke up this morning determined to out DISHONEST Biggs?
I was told White's receiving skills were "critical". They obviously weren't.
They were critical. It's White's fault that Bowles blew 4 games? Those key plays don't count?
The 4th down conversion vs the 49ers doesn't mean anything because Bowles can't get a stop on defense?
You blame Coen for the play calling so that obviously absolves White from all the shitty (obvious) run plays he had to take, right? RIGHT ?!?!!?
What 4 games did Bowles blow? Just so we're on the same page.
I blame Coen for a. not running the ball enough, b. giving carries to White when we need to run the ball to win the game

Before the last drive, Tucker had 8 carries for 72 yards (9 ypc) and a 36 yard TD reception.

Right, so it was on that LAST DRIVE when the TEAM IS UP 3 SCORES . . that he gets almost half of the stats you have been trumpeting on here for weeks.

Of that amount, 76% of your posts mention "Biggs".
Your obsession with him should be studied one day.
I mean, it's borderline psychotic.
Meanwhile I said all along Bucky was a steal.
Kudos on the great call.
But, think about how much better we'd be if Tucker had those carries.

You're asking a question you already know the answer to. There's actually 5 games where Bowles just needed to get a stop and we would have likely won but he couldn't.

Coen in these games had some subpar moments late in the game that were often compounded by penalties from rookies. I'm not absolving him... But the offense carried the defense all year.
For example the KC game. Despite not having Evans and Godwin and playing against a great defense (and subpar offense) he marched down the field a scored the game tying TD. In that very game Bowles fumbled the clock managment and left time AND he chose to kick the extra point in rainy conditions on the road.
This game in particular is 100% on Bowles. The others I mentioned are 90/10 or 80/20 as the offense could have iced the game or scored a TD etc.
I could also add the Carolina game to that list but luckily we got a crazy lunch out from a backup DE hustling.
Meanwhile I said all along Bucky was a steal.

It's amazing to me that JC is such a homer that we're having to dunk on a player that all of us actually like
Agreed. He’s a really good #3 RB. And until he learns pass protection and other aspects of the position, that’s probably where he’ll stay in this RB room.

It's amazing to me that I say Tucker should take White's carries, you turn that into I said he should take Bucky's carries and you all high five each other like it's a win.

Defense got big stops with the lead vs Atlanta, SF and Washington. The offense followed them up with turnovers and 3 and outs.
In the 4th qtr of the 5 games you mentioned, White had a robust 1.8 ypc.

And yet... They got roasted b2b to tie the game then lose the game.
And yet SF marched down the field at ease and allowed an easy game winning FG... Sorry they didn't get a 4th miss of the day from sr shanks alot.
And yet, Washington drove down the field, killed all the clock, and won the game with a FG. Had they been even decent and made the FG reasonably long he probably misses but nope... They choked.
Since you can't argue that you'll pivot to White.

I'm pivoting to White for two reasons. One, this is a thread about the running back depth chart. Secondly, the Bucs lost games not because they couldn't get a 4th qtr stop, but because they couldn't run the ball after those stops. And against SF not only did they go 3 and out after a stop, but couldn't score from the 5 to win the game. The answer is no more White and a hell of a lot more Tucker. That doesn't mean I'm a Tucker homer, that doesn't even make sense, I had no opinion of him before he joined the Bucs. My allegiance lies to wanting the Bucs to win more games and that means they have to run the ball better late in games.

Which is it... Is Coen calling poor run plays and White has nothing to work with, or is Coen making the right call and another RB would have made it work? You can't be a pimp and a prostitute here... Pick a lane.
The offense carried the defense all year and at times it failed to carry them down the stretch. It's true that Coen had some regrettable moments late in games. But I'm not sure how you can consider getting a FG to tie the game a "choke". The choke came shortly after when the defense gave up the game winning FG against a kicker that had already missed 3 fgs that game.
All of these instances where the "offense choked" were compounded by the defense choking in the most critical moment.
