Dude it's one fucking game, jfc.

But it was one helluva game. It took an undrafted scrub from being unfairly buried on the depth chart to being the love-child of Emmitt Smith/Jamal Lewis and latest member of the JC HOF. You really can't discount that type of performance.

Check in after Week 6: Rachaad White - Inactive w/Injury. Still #1 on the Depth Chart.

A lesson in trolling.   . . . lol

Fire CORRECTLY makes the obvious point:

Posted by: @firebowles2023

White is a better all around RB

JC, tries to counter BUT IN SO DOING goes full circle into clubbing himself with his own point

Posted by: @jc5100

Rachaad White is a net negative to the offense

Tucker was the BACKUP.  You keep saying Tucker should play over White BASED LARGELY ON RUNNING STATS (mostly for one game) but here you are now claiming that White being a "better all around RB"  is not true because  . . . he was a "net negative FOR THE OFFENSE". . ie his effectiveness in PASS PRO and RECEIVING are negated by his RUNNING.

LMAO, just take that same look at Emmitt Smith. . . er Tucker .

His running was good (mostly in one game) BUT his limitations in PASS PRO (gave up a notable sack) and RECEIVING  . .  compared to White . .are what made him a "net negative to the offense" as compared to WHITE.

You just hit yourself over the head with the obvious weakness in your claims about Tucker

I never complained about the Chargers carries

This is pure bullshit.

You cried like an effeminate little bitch throughout the entire gameday thread.

You were actually deleting Coen-bashing posts in realtime, as Liam and Baker bent over the Chargers secondary.

Lying clown…

This thread hopefully lives on because it is like an IRRESISTIBLE honey pot prison for the worst Red Board trolls.

Those trolls are STILL in here trolling away even though the thread itself is home to all their lowest moments. . . .

totally bad football takes on RBs NOW PROVEN TO BE SUCH and

busted up trolling . . NOW PROVEN TO BE SUCH

Long live the "Running Back Depth" thread . .

May it go on for another full season of "White as RB 1" and "Tucker as Emmitt Smith" and Bucky Irving as nothing more than the beneficiary of "trick plays."

The doeth chart is

Bucky

White

Tucker

It's that way for a reason.

Bucky needs to improve his pass protection otherwise he's borderline elite.

White needs to improve his vision & pace in obvious running downs.

Tucker needs to improve pass protection, ball protection, and his abilities as a pass catcher.

All three are good rbs with different skills sets. It's a nice luxury to have... It's not a knock on Tucker. He'd probably start for the Giants.

But as it stands he has two better all-around RBs above him on the depth chart so he will need to take advantage of his opportunities.

White needs to improve his vision & pace in obvious running downs

This was the question posed IN THIS THREAD way back in the preseason that gave life to 40 pages of trolling and mostly by the people who hold themselves out as football savants.

And yet here we are in the following offseason now and White HIMSELF acknowledges the point of that question way back then:

“I really can’t tell you,” White said when Frank the Tank asked him how he developed his Le’Veon Bell-like patience. “I’ve just been running the ball like that my whole life, you know?  “And it’s a different type of style of running the ball, and that’s the thing. Sometimes, you know, some people like it, and some people don’t."

White even goes on to point out that Coen adapted to him some, so Kudos to Coen BUT the point trolled in this thread was that Irving was destined to take over IF he kept hitting the hole as he did and IF White kept running more like Le'Veon Bell.

As was said back in the preseason that did NOT mean White was BAD RB, far from it, it just meant that his style might not have been what they were looking for last year, at least as compared to Irving.

Yup.

All 3 have their strengths and all 3 have their areas to improve.

It's a nice luxury to have.

Rightly or wrongly, many will see Irving as a potential injury risk because of his size and workload BUT  the Bucs would have a pretty good plan with Tucker/White, at least for the moment.

Not the entire game, just the first half. Chargers were 27th in yards per carry against but Duuuuuuvaaaaal was 70% pass in the first half with Bucky only having 4 carries. Baker had a bad pick that led to a TD and dipshit had a fumble that the defense bailed out (again).  Duval woke up at half time and went Bucky heavy in the 3rd, 6 carries for 92 yards and the offense exploded.

Yes, running stats. Bucs don't run the ball enough. White's receiving skills don't move the needle.

JC your trolling is going from bad to worse.

White split snaps with Irving and he was still probably in the top 10 in receiving yards by an RB? His 6 receiving TDs maybe somewhere near the top of RBs for 2024? His receiving production maybe about 10-15% of the Bucs entire passing offense? From the RB position.

And that leaves out the key part when it comes to comparing him to Emmitt Smith  . . . er Tucker . . . when White was in the Bucs had the versatility to go with any play because he could run, he could catch and he could pass pro.
