We’ll see who starts and gets more carries on Sunday. And the week after that. And the week after that. And the week after that. And the week after that.
Outside of an injury or him completely falling off a cliff, you’re correct.
We’ll see who starts and gets more carries on Sunday.
Way to own it, big guy!! BWHAHA. Who "starts" and gets more carries "on Sunday."
Biggs, the frequency of "you're" angered WRONGNESS (as reliable a Florida summer rain!) is only out done by the frequency with which your trolling falls apart like wet tissue paper.
There was NOTHING controversial about my initial post.
Because you are you though, you started off talking about 2025 and 2026 and then "street clothes" and then . . the BIGGS classic .. only an "idiot" would suggest . . WHAT THE HEAD COACH JUST SUGGESTED. That same HC said he would start BY DEFAULT, right? You can read?
lol
So, now . . shift the ball. Sunday. "see who starts." Way to own it!
My initial post was a QUESTION as to whether it was possible that the other RBs eventually take a larger role because of White's style of running versus what multiple CoachES (plural) have said they want. The basis for that THOUGHT was then pointed out by Josh Q and then implied by the HEAD COACH right out of the gate.
Everyone -- myself included - hopes White runs and catches in a way that puts the THOUGHT to rest, even with the pausing at the line (LVB ran the same way).
t's hear from the guy who actually IS running the offense:
The QB? lol. Mayfield calls the runs direction . . according to Biggs
The HC? Last year the heavy running (that was never going to happen in Waldron's offense) was because of Bowles? (the guy who just said White was only the starter by default)
And Bowles is the guy who gave Brady his first losing season? The OC is in charge though?
Kidding, just pointing out the WHIPLASH of message board takes.
See post to Biggs.
Stand by my initial post. . . . along with Bowles and Josh Q!
Also hope White totally dominates. I am a Bucs fan.
DH, honest question . . . you think it was controversial to suggest that White's style might clash with what the coaches have said they want?
You disagree with Josh Q's take on the film?
You disagree that Bowles just suggested the same point (even if just to motivate him?)
Where do YOU actually stand on that point?
Man, if you listen to Wirfs I would NOT bet against our running game this year!

Best player has a HUGE chip on his shoulder about it. Barring injury we may be tough!
Last year the heavy running (that was never going to happen in Waldron's offense) was because of Bowles?
When a football simpleton like yourself says “heavy running” about last year, what does that mean? Are you referring to fact that the team was 23rd in rushing attempts last season or the fact that they threw it 130 times more than they ran it?
It’s always interesting to peer into the mind of a lunatic that lives in an alternate reality.
lives in an alternate reality.
Where Mayfield is to blame for the 2022 running game and Trask should be the starter in October? Or, do you mean where there is NO correlation between running and passing in the NFL? Oh wait, you mean where Canales is a Waldron disciple? Where the Bucs were an old team in 2023?
Is that the alternate reality?
:-)
“heavy running” about last year,
get a life troll.
try to redirect the conversation . . .. YAWN
Bwahahahahaha @ “try to redirect the conversation.”
Absolutely precious, and one of the reasons you’re only worthy of mocking.
Where do YOU actually stand on that point?
Umm, I think I made it pretty clear.
As did the guy running the offense:
“We want to obviously get guys involved,” offensive coordinator Liam Coen said. “But Rachaad is the guy. He’s going to start the game and he’s going to keep playing, and Bucky (Irving) will get his specific stuff and be able to play. And when Sean (Tucker) needs to go in there and give those guys a blow, he’ll do a great job as well."
“Ultimately, man, it’s Rachaad’s show,” Coen said.

white is on my fantasy team so definitely want him to succeed. He killed it receiving (as expected) but ran for a 2 yd average? Irving 7 yard average?
great to have two good RBs
great to have an O-line
PR most impressive has White most impressive as a receiver
“It was a tale of two Whites, as he was both impressive and disappointing on offense. He provides value, although more as a No. 3 wide receiver than a No. 1 running back.””
That is PRs opinion. I think White will be fine as a RB long term. Plus, he isn't going to be asked to be a bell cow back because that is what PR staff is obsessed with.
Irving proved he can run between the tackles and grind so it is going to be a tandem between White and Irving and that is fine. Because the star of the offense is the passing game. Just need NFL average running game to make the elite passing offense hum.

I am a White fan but it’s obvious (for now) that he did not quiet the criticism of one aspect of his game. It’s fair criticism too and at least in this game it stands out because there’s another RB running for a 7 yd average.
this is PR
White was outshined by rookie Bucky Irving, who broke off a 32-yard run in the fourth quarter, eliciting “Bucky” chants from the Tampa Bay faithful.
As White looks to hold his grasp on being the No. 1 running back, 15 carries for 31 yards won’t help.“

Agreed.
Look forward to seeing the A22 regarding the run game.
Looked like Bucky had SUPERIOR run blocking on his attempts vs. White.
And, I think part of that was simply situational and where we were at in the game.
I mean, the one where he got 50% of his yardage on one carry, he had a hole the size of I-95 to run through (along with a LB who bit on pursuit).
