All these red flag posts are hilarious. Over-reaction central. The combine is 20% of the evaluation process for NFL teams.
You are going to use a 1996 stat to tell me that we should draft a 6' 1" WR in 2014?Find the midget!
Sayeth the man who referred to Hall of Fame QBs, one of whom was drafted in 1979.
Right. You were the one who tried to compare Sammy Watkins to Issac Bruce who played in the NFL 10 years ago. Pierre Garcon is his match, like it or not. 6th rounder Pierre Garcon.

I didn't like him before the combine. The combine only confirmed my thinking on him. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SACKxzn9YJA If you didn't have the combine you would think that was a 40" vertical. Man did he really sky for that one???? No, he didn't. Who is the best CB that Watkins went against this year? How many future 1st rounders pressed him off the LOS?
Wow, didn't know someone could fail in their thread so much. Op is arguing that 2-3 inches is the deciding factor on this kid.....no seriously, that's his argument. He's 2-3 inches shorter than the taller wrs in the nfl. His vertical is 2-3 inches shorter than it should be.GTFO bro. You might not like the kid, but a couple inches on combine numbers doesn't change anything. What's even more embarrassing, you had to pull td numbers to back up his size argument. Pull up stats like yards or yac, and you'll find all kinds of wrs 6'2" or less. No one is drafting Watkins to be jump ball outside wr. They are picking him to run routes and use his speed and acceleration in space.Just ignore desean Jackson, Antonio brown, and the countless others that all posted near or over 1000 yards with good yac numbers. Guys like Wes welker have no place in the nfl. Never mind guys like jerry rice who were 6'1-6'2 with no where near the wheels of Watkins. There really aren't too many clowns making ridiculous claims like this, thanks for being original.
Wooha! Game set and match, Tat!
C'mon Jersey, you know I'm not giving up that easy. It's actually quite elementary. There is no chance that Tat knocks my thread off track. I pwn Tat all day every day.
Midget QBs never win anything

Since your argument is that Watkins is a midget and wont translate into the NFL, I need to ask you something. Just how exactly does it feel to be "smarter" than every single pundit out there, who get paid for their talent evaluation, saying he is going to be a top 10 pick?If you wanted to argue why we shouldnt draft him because we have other needs, we could have taken you seriously. But to buck the trend and pretend to know something that every scout and front office guy in the NFL dont...its time to step away from the pipe son.
The funny thin here is the top 2 WR's in the league were under 6'1" last year, 3 of the top 4 were. 4 of the top 7 were and so on. Anquan Boldin has made a living at the same size/weight ratio as Watkins. Cruz, Allen Hilton were all in the same size range as Watkins, allen is 1" taller but also slimmer. Trying to tie height to being a good WR doesn't wash using any metric.
Goldson = Fail on every level possible
No doubt. Goldsonages...king of his squalid bedroom. Wipe yo butt.
LMAO
This is the guy who's last screenname was the Grimm Reaper because he thought Cody Grimm was a star. lol

You dont know how every frint office has these players rated. You dont know how every scout has him rated. And its about much more than just height. Did any of you jack offs even read the OP?

If you are looking at total receptions you will find plenty of midgets. Look up total TDs and total yards. Its a completely different story. You obviously didnt even lpok at the other metrics dal.
Okay, Goldson, so who would you select instead of Watkins?
ummmmmm, since when did 6-1 200+ lbs = midget? Watkins should be one of our top targets.
