It always sucks when someone gets fired, even if they earned it. My advice to Schiano would be to NOT return to college and a HC job, but try to get a coordinator or assistant job in the NFL. Take a step back and try and figure out what you did wrong when you you no longer have the pressure of being the boss. Then go back to college if you want.

I think Schiano is a better guy than most of us understand. The media was after him since the first time he tried to go after the V formation.That said, his quote that the next HC is taking over a really good team is laughable. It's true, but what about he team he entered this season with? This team was setup to win in a big way. The 2013 season was an EPIC FAIL of coaching.
Terrible coach who gave away quality players. And killed the Bucs big time with his feeble minded ways. Could care less about what kind of guy he is...his football ability was vastly exposed. He conned the Glazers big time.

I agree. He will have to learn more about being a good NFL head coach but I think he's a good guy. Just not a good NFL head coach right now.
