NFL Rumors: Tampa Bay Buccaneers may draft LSU star Jeremy Hill By Josh Hill - Feb 22nd, 2014 at 11:51 pm Nov 29, 2013; Baton Rouge, LA, USA; LSU Tigers running back Jeremy Hill (33) celebrates a touchdown against the Arkansas Razorbacks in the second half at Tiger Stadium. LSU defeated Arkansas 31-27. Crystal LoGiudice-USA TODAY SportsThe Buccaneers have lame new helmets but they may be getting a strong and very awesome draft class this year. With new management in charge of everything, the Bucs are starting to hash out adrift strategy and many fans are starting to wonder what they may end up doing. On player that the Bucs may target is LSU Tigers running back Jeremy Hill who is starting to garner a lot of attention and praise from scouts and analysts alike. Pete Yasinskas form ESPN.com notes that while no one knows what the Bucs are doing, and the team has three running backs already, they may be open to drafting Hill if he’s there. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are pretty well set at running back with starter Doug Martin and backups Mike James and Bobby Rainey. But, if Hill is the best player on their board at any given time, anything is possible. Anything is possible at the draft, but the Buccaneers taking Hill is far-fetched. Lovie Smith did grab Matt Forte in Chicago to be a lead back, but the Bucs already have Doug Martin and a compliment of backs behind him, meaning the Bucs picks can be devoted to filling defensive holes. http://fansided.com/2014/02/22/nfl-rumors-tampa-bay-buccaneers-draft-lsu-jeremy-hill/?utm_source=FanSided&utm_medium=Network&utm_campaign=Trending%20on%20FS

Lame new helmets! Not as lame as the author.
This guy is right about the Helmets but so wrong about RB. Doug Matin, Mike James, Bobby Rainey and Jeff Demps. What the hell would the Bucs do with another RB?

Fatten him up and put him on the oline.

Agree on both points.
So we get a guy who isn't as useful in the passing game and doesn't bring much last what Martin already does? I like Hill but on this roster we do not need another RB. You would have to have an odd scenario where the RB is the only player left in a higher tier than where we are picking and there is no other player.

BPA is nice in theory, but it has its limits.
No to drafting a RB! Deepest position we have and we're going to draft another RB???
The best teams always draft BPA.
Running Backs are always a fun pick in the Draft with fans. Problem is we don't have a lot of room to maneuver because we don't have our full slate of picks. I would never count anything out. If we have a RB on our draft board that really drops and we really like him then I would not have a problem with it. We definitely cannot do it with our top 2 picks though.
We can use a Fullback, Wilder would be interesting late if he can bulk up and play the position.

Pass.
This is utter idiocy - has to be Yaskinkas just responding to a question right?
I think we need a true FB. Not a DE playing FB. We have to get out of this expansion team mentality now that Schiano is gone.
