I am constantly reminded that many........most of you here......seem to side with the players....and offer them great room for mistakes, and excuse ridiculously bad behavior.I see the game deteriorating before my eyes due to much of that mindset.I don't side with the players on most issues, and I'll tell you why..... it's the Owners game. Players come and go......and typically spend less than 6 years of their life in the NFL. The good character players appreciate that, and usually say that life is bigger than the game...and they go on to do great things....as a result of being affiliated with football at one time.I'm stunned at how many people think Goodell is evil. He's there to do one thing........protect the game from thug morons.......and produce mind blowing profits. In that regard.......he's better than any I've seen....including Pete Rozelle....who helped the AFL and NFL merge.I understand when little kids side with players.......but there seems to be a lot of adults these days that do that as well...... players come and go folks........we cheer for the logo.
