Tim Tebow was a giant muscle head Fullback playing QB. He was never a legit NFL QB prospect and everyone knew that except Josh McDaniels. He wasn't overly mobile either. He was just a big muscle bound FB that would run people over. Obviously not sustainable for a QB in the NFL. Manziel is an undersized scrawny kid that has the most escapability of any QB since Michael Vick. He throws with great accuracy and has shown he can play from the pocket and still dominate. Not only is he 10000x the pocket passer Tebow was, but he can throw while running and doing a backflip and still be insanely accurate. Manziel also has uncanny timing and apparently has eyes in the back of his head or some sort of spidey sense.Comparing the two is like comparing Jeff Garcia to Jerome Bettis.

Tebow wasn't overly mobile? Come on now
Tebow was very mobile . Get serious.
Tebow also threw for 300 yards in a playoff game.

That muscle you speak of made him twice the runner Johnny will be on Sundays. You're over rating his speed. It's also interesting that you bring up Jeff Garcia. Perfect comparison for Johnny. I think that is about his ceiling. The only thing is Jeff played more with in his system and took the safe plays a lot which made him effective. JF is a loose canon who reportedly didn't even know A&Ms offense that well.

Manziel's arm is infinitely better than Garcias
He's going to the Browns and his career will end early because if it.
You say Garcia is his ceiling like that is a bad thing. Back in 2000 and 2001 when Garcia was in his prime, he threw for 8000 yards, 63 TDs, and just 22 Ints. That was ridiculously good back then. He also ran for nearly 700 yards and 9 TDs. The only reason Garcia's eliteness was short lived is because he got a late start. His path to the NFL was long and he was 29 years old his rookie year. If he'd gone straight to the NFL as a youngster, he would hold a much different place in NFL history. If Manziel can be Garcia, we should trade up to #1 and get him. Oh and you guys are right. Tebow was mobile. Mobile like a Mack truck. Manziel is like a Lotus.
Anyone who compares Johnny to Tebow immediately loses all credibility in my book. They literally have nothing in common.
Wow.
Tebow wasn't just a Mack truck. He was quick and elusive in the pocket also. I saw him escape countless sacks.Tebow busted because of his arm.Nothing at all to do with his legs.
Damn man. I am going to be so pissed when Cleveland gets manziel. Yo, why did we have to beat the bills or phins?
No diggity. That sh!t is whack yo.
He is a perfect fit for Cleveland. If you really want him then let Cleveland draft him and you can snatch him off the waiver wire in 2 or 3 years.

Tebow did that in A game.300 yards is a BAD game for JFF.

Wow.
Wow nothin. They aren't even close.
