Oh and you guys are right. Tebow was mobile. Mobile like a Mack truck. Manziel is like a Lotus.
So you are comparing Manziel to a car that had dubious reliability issues, so you are really trying to indicate that he'll be broken a lot of the time? If that is the case I'll take the Mack truck thanks.
I think the whole "running manziel" talk is bogus.Any oc in their right mind isn't going to allow him to run like that in the nfl. If they even do allow him to run, it will be the "take what you can get" routine to keep the defense honest.I'm pretty confident in his throwing abilities, leadership, and mental toughness. I don't even care about his running abilities, and I still believe he's well worth moving up for. He's not perfect and has his flaws, but he suffers from correctible mistakes, if in which he doesn't listen to the oc, the scoreboard will make him listen.I think lovie should take a shot in the dark with at least one of the top qb's anyway. He will be here for at least three years, glennon will still be here fairly cheap/young, and the blame is lessened if the understanding is to make a big impression coming in.
As I said, if one of the top 3 QB's fall to us , I'm ok if we decide to take a shot....On the other hand , if we draft Carr #7, I will have a hard time swallowing it.Good news is the new GM seems too smart with his evaluations for that nonsense.
