We know that Johnson will be our RDE, McCoy our 3 tech, McDonald our NT, David the ROLB, Verner will most likely be our CB 1 and for now I'm assuming both safeties keep their jobs. What about the other spots?I think Clayborn will actually do better as a LDE and Banks looks a lot more like a zone corner and was touted as one coming out of the draft, I think the scheme will help them. I'm curious to see what we will do at MLB, that's a big deal in the Tampa 2. Lovie says he wants guys who can run and hit, although they look more like 3-4 outside guys, Barr and Mack are the definition of run and hit players and can step in and start at strongside where hopefully Lovie can get creative with them and take advantage of their pass rushing ability. It's going to be interesting watching this defense fall into place.
