It's a popularity contest. David has had statistically a more complete season than any LB EVER and would be running away with the DPOTY award if he was on the cowgirls but he can't even make the pro bowl. Beyond laughable. It makes me legitimately angry because down the line when they talk about potential HOFers, they always mention number of Pro Bowls. More than that though, it sucks for him. He deserved the recognition and a free trip to Hawaii with his family. Seriously fucked up.

People should be going nuts. I mean it is criminal to overlook what he's done and just how flipping good he's been. I hate the pro bowl, really sorta glad he's not going so he can't get injured but I get the honor matters. Maybe pro bowl should have a 43 defense for one team and a 34 defense for the other and players in the front 7 go in as one unit or the other.

Seriously? LOL. Only 9 of his '24' were solo and only 1 was a TFL so his game was already very overhyped.

I agree completely with that. The dude doesn't talk, he plays, and he's pretty damn good, but the media talks about him like he's currently in the HOF. It's an absolute joke. Exactly like you said.
