I also think when Glennon was at his best is when we hit the no huddle and the coaches just let him run with it. He was very accurate and decisive on the quick-hitters.
Freeman is going to be the new Bengals QB
Lolz
I learned that if the Bucs are supposed to be the "new Chiefs" then they better get a franchise QB and not a game manager because that will only amount to one and done in the post-season...
How many teams out of the 32 have "elite franchise QB'S " we are not ready for a super bowl run the staff hasn't even been introduced yet

And how do you suggest that we do that? Draft a QB in the first round? Alex Smith was the top pick. Also threw 4 TDs against a division winner on the road. Aaron Rogers lost at home today. Last time I checked, he was a franchise QB. No, you need a solid team, sound coaching, and good QB play to get you there. Franchise QB isn't necessarily a requirement. Tampa fans should get used to that because even if we draft a guy high, chances are, he will not be at the level yet. Seriously looking forward to the new staff's decision on Glennon. Should put this debate to bed IMO.
I learned that if you rip the DE off your QB by the throat, you'll allow your QB to make a "great play" and no one will say anything about it despite the clear penalty on multiple replays.Cuz thats what the great QBs do.
I learned that if your name is Drew Brees and you demand a penalty after the play in a postseason game the official will throw a flag for you. Did anybody else catch that?
That football is a lot more fun when they don't call defensive holding.

I agree that it takes a team effort with good coaching to get to the promised land but don't discount the value of exceptional QB play when the margin of difference is slim in the playoffs. In Smith's case, he played very well but that wasn't enough against the momentum of a home team with a franchise QB. Rodgers also had a good game but Niners are clearly a better overall team with what appears to be a rising franchise QB. So in my opinion, it's not an indictment on either Smith or Rodgers but moreso a validation of the point that franchise QB's make the difference when the differences between teams are negligible.
