I would be fine with it as long as we spend a pick somewhere in the draft on QB. I'm really interested in QB Brett Smith but I think we would have to use our 2nd to get him. Competition is a good thing and developing two QBs is smart business.

Really if he rolls with Glennon that gives me a lot of faith that a non Rutgers set of eyes looked at him and saw something positive.

I don't get the Brett Smith love. I've seen him as a 2nd round prospect, but to me he looks like he wouldn't even be the best QB from last years draft. Looks like a back up you'd take in the 4th or 5th to me.
Since we cant draft BW or Manziel and the other guys are no better than Glennon, I have no problem rolling with Glennon again. Especially since I think his rookie season had a horrible offensive system and roster. I would draft Jimmy Garoppolo later in the draft though because Jimmy G is secretly one of the best QBs in the country and could be drafted in the 4th probably.
I like Brett Smith cause I see an athletic, accurate, strong enough arm and didn't have that great WR. Carr had Adams, Manziel had Evans, and Smith's line is not good saw a few Wyoming games and enjoyed watching him play. I like the idea of getting a QB out of the 1st round this year I think there is value in this class.

Honestly...I think there's a good chance that Bridgewater, Bortles, and Manziel all go before we pick. I also don't know that the Bucs and Lovie will trade up for on of those QBs. I see us staying at 7 or trading down. I still think we could draft a QB in round 2 or 4, but I'd not be shocked if we didn't draft a QB at 7 just because the top guys most likely will be gone. Lovie has 5 years and we have a lot of holes on offense. I think we can sign a DE and with Lovie and Frazier...they can turn our D into a top 10 D.On offense, I think we need another WR, TE, and some help on the O-line. I think the only way we draft a QB is if someone like Manziel or Bortles slips to us at 7 or if for some reason Houston and the Rams both decided to go in another direction. If that happens then I could see a QB slipping to us.

What exact options are you talking about? Who are we going to trade for Kirk Cousins? I honestly would take Glennon over Cousins and trading for a Qb never works. You look at the draft, Bridgewater, Bortles and Manziel are most likely to go top 5, unless we somehow trade up we are not getting any of them and with only 5 draft picks as it is I doubt that is are plan. That leaves you with Carr in the first round and I do think with the ties to Tedford Carr will be in discussion. If Lovie and the rest of our staff thinks there will be an upgrade out there I have no doubt they will go after it. I will support the decision either way

A trade for a QB would surprise me, but a trade for Clowney wouldnt surprise me. Lovie is going to want a premier DE. If they sign FA passrusher then im all for trading to get Manziel

I wouldn't be jumping ship but with Lovies offensive ineptitude and Tedford complete lack of pro experience it wouldn't mean a thing if they did pick him.It's when the bullets start flying and we would see what he can do in their system (nightmare situation IMO).
