I can’t divulge my source but, it does sound like the Glazers have a big name coach teed up to be our next coach. I was concerned about some reports where people were saying we were staying put with Bowles, so I started doing some digging.
Won’t be announced until after the playoffs but it’s a great name and one very few are talking about.
LMAO. The Dianna Rousinni counterpunch!!
Bowles just needs to go. 8 weeks where they could have made this work for them. All they needed was 1 or two wins. Playoffs in the bag. 8 times to try to do that. I don't know how you settle for that if you are the owner. It's like someone had 8 tries to correct something they did wrong but couldn't. Anyone else gets fired for that. Why is Bowles special to the glazers?
OK just for fun I'll bite. I don't see why they'd wait until after the playoffs, since I wouldn't consider any coordinators "big names." Mike Tomlin is a big name, but he's been mentioned a lot all over the internet. With a little help from Copilot here are some guys who might fit the bill. I'm bypassing big names who have been talked about like Tomlin and Kingsbury and Saban.
Lincoln Riley (hasn't gotten a lot of attention lately)
Ryan Day (Hasn't really been mentioned as a Bucs candidate).
Louis Riddick (This pick would be out there, but don't discount it completely. He has no coaching experience).
Mike McDonald (not really a big name)
Copilot keeps trying to sell me on this one "big name" guy .......Deion Sanders! I'm not buying it because he has health problems and I don't think he's really the type.
These same sources are telling me the name rhymes with Rod Coals 🤔
Louis Riddick has been interviewing for GM jobs, not HC jobs

in this make believe world, when does Bowles get fired? is it Monday? Next Monday? After Bucs win Superbowl?

If Bowles gets fired it would most likely be in January. I think Schiano is fired end of December and Gruden in mid-January. Gruden had the extension and Schiano was told he was safe before a late collapse.
Lovie Smith is fired in January too
Koetter is fired December 30th, just like Shciano. Maybe something about their contracts.
uh oh . .
"Last last night, the Buccaneers alerted media that the team will not host a “media availability” today. This afternoon, per the announcement, the Bucs will pick a time for Monday.'
LOL
Yeah. The Bucs are done playing football for this season. The Glazers have a responsibility to the players and the fans to move on from the Bowles era. They are due for a splash type hire. This would certainly fall into that category.
lol Yeah not quite clear what he means by "after the playoffs".After Bucs win Superbowl?
This one.
Lincoln Riley. Don't underestimate the importance of Mayfield in the hiring process like it or not. If Baker is going to be here long term Licht knows he has to get an offensive minded guy who can be here with him. Riley has coached Baker before.
It would be unorthodox, but don't discount the possibility that Bowles retires and remains a defensive consultant to be involved in the defense in some way. Riley's criticisms have come from the defense. The Bucs already went down that route with Arians of course. Just hiring a bunch of assistant coaches and keeping Bowles - Do the Glazers and Licht really think that's the best path forward? I have a hard time believing that. Riley has had difficulty finding good DCs, so it would make sense to have someone help with that side of the ball. So again it's unorthodox but I could see Riley being brought in as OC for a year with Bowles HC for one more year, or Bowles going into semi-retirement and being involved in the defense. It would be unusual, but why keep Bowles around for another year as a lame duck? What's the long term plan? There has to be a longer term plan that is more than just "lets give it another year..."

I doubt that happens, but if it did what would be some of the reasoning offered here?
Glazers trying to save $6 million per your (from the $500 million op profit)
Glazers scared of the optics?
Licht to blame! (by more than just JC5100)
Arians saved him!
Kidding aside, one reason you'd expect them to wait until January if they are firing him is to come up with the next plan
I see a number of posts stating that the Bucs will wait until January to make a decision on Bowles.
I looked at the Calander just to make sure.
Just as I thought, we are already in January.

Lol.
I was like, well, we don't have to wait that long!
