Where is the blitzing...we did 1 double A-gap blitz in 1st quarter and Keenum got dropped hard by David. Would have loved to see that on some of the 3rd and longs...instead we gave him lots of time to either get off a deep ball and draw PI or find someone underneath. Our safety talent isn't good enough to cover lots of deep routes so we need to compensate with a blitz to force QB's to get the ball out faster. ...plus if you get off a good rush the QB likely won't even have time to throw a route to the sticks and if he tries to push it up field our safeties should be deep enough to make a play on the ball instead of being in a trailing position 25+ yards downfield.
Add to that our pass rush from DL has been anemic, why again aren't we blitzing more often? Especially against a weak QB like Keenum. It isn't like he is Drew Brees or Brady who can eat blitzes for lunch.
