"I found the revelation that McCoy can see perfectly on the field without glasses, but that he has poor vision without glasses off the field to be incredibly enlightening, yet there were no comments about that. Instead, over half of the comments were those of a somewhat intolerant nature. Just know that Iām praying hard for you guys and wishing you everyone a Merry Christmas. (Oops. Sorry for the personal religious injection.) "---> I know I commented on this. The problem Scott is that short of magic this is impossible and you report this as if it is true. Your eyes don't change shape based on the ground you are on. Maybe you should ask if his vision is good only on the playing field or is it still good on the sidelines. How about the tunnel? Does it get better the closer he gets to the field? What if he gets into a pickup game that isn't on an officially sanctioned field do his eyes change once a football arrives on the grass? This isn't about believing in Jesus, God or Gozer the Gozerian but about common sense.
We get excited about a high number of rookies contributing almost every year. Adams, Sears, and Jackson were instant starters in 2007 and Sabby and Black were key special teams players. Freeman, Miller, Stroughter and Biggers all contributed in 2009. McCoy, Benn, Mike Williams, and Grimm were big players in 2010 and that doesn't even include all the second draft players. That isn't really news. What matters is how many players move beyond contributors. That's been the problem.

Well and for guys like Gholston and Glennon they didn't win their spots as much as the dudes ahead of them 100% collapsed and even being mediocre was better than being bad.
If finding 4 average players is a great draft then sure.Ā But to me this class lacks the high end talent.Ā Of coarse trading the first is a big reason.
I don't see all the "Keep Schiano" posts. I see "Crap, the Glazers are going to keep him because he won crap games." I must not be following the same fan base you are PR.

And 2005 with Cadillac, Dan Buenning and Alex Smith.

You have to add Revis as a part of that draft as that pick was used for him. According to PFF, Revis island is still alive and well as he's easily the top graded CB this year even though he's shell of his former self thus far.
Lol
"Perhaps one more draft class together is what Schiano and Dominik need to get the Bucs over the hump and into the playoffs".Given the radical improvement over the prior several drafts since 2002, I have to agree. 3 solid drafts usually is the number needed when rebuilding. If we fail to make the playoffs next season, I think the Glazers will drop the axe...Mike Williams has better hands than Vincent Jackson? That's a surprising observation.

We're here.Ā There's a lot of us.Ā The "Keep Schiano" crowd knew the truth about all the personal attacks would eventually come out.Ā The "keep Schiano" crowd by and large doesn't howl on the radio or scream on the message boards, but maybe more should.Ā Regardless we're a rather large, even if a little too quiet group.

So you're cool with losing 10+ games this year because you can blame it all on a guy that hasn't been in Tampa for 3 months?
Better coachingĀ will get this team over the top
How about we take a poll on this and see.Ā My money is on that large Keep Schiano crowd being less than 10%.Ā

I'm cool with the future success of this team w/ a coach and leader who the media vultures tried their best to run out of town , all based on falsehoods.Ā Added to that was the MRSA,Ā the league leading injured reserve list, and a rookie QB.Ā In future years he'll be judged on W-L record, but few people, in football or not in football could have weathered the storm he has.Ā It was reported "he lost the locker-room", which we now know (some of us knew then) was the opposite of reality.Ā It's time now to move on with a coach who can now devote 100% of his working time to football...and not all the other garbage.Ā
