Seahawks expected to move on from Sidney RiceAccording to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, the Seahawks are "likely" to release Sidney Rice. Rapsheet is just stating the obvious, as cutting Rice — who's recovering from a torn ACL — will be a no-brainer move for a team that needs to lock up Richard Sherman and Earl Thomas between now and next offseason. Releasing Rice would clear over $7 million in cap space. Grossly overpaid since the day he signed his five-year, $41 million contract in July 2011, Rice is due an untenable $8.5 million. One of the league's least durable players, Rice has just 114 total catches since notching 83 in 2009. So dumb. Any winning team has great fans. Remember when the Bucs were good and there was 100,000 people on the waiting list?Most fans are bandwagon fans. If Seattle was a perennial 4-12 team, their fans wouldn't "give a crap" either. Of course the exceptions to the rules here are places like Pittsburgh, Green Bay, etc.
