Perhaps there’s a thread on this topic, but I couldn’t find it on the Red Board. This year’s captains are Evans, Marpet, David, Alexander and Taylor.
First, as others have pointed out, I think it speaks volumes that Winston wasn’t voted a captain. That point has been beat to death. Yet I also find it interesting that McCoy also wasn’t voted one. He’s our perennial pro bowler, right? There’s some type of disconnect between his play on the field and position in the locker room. Lastly, it’s pretty cool that David has now been a captain five years in a row. Clearly, he’s respected and trusted by his teammates.
