Time will tell. Bridgewater could be Russell Wilson like. Bortles could be Roethlisberger like.Manziel could be RG3 like. Only time will tell.

True...or they could all be Ryan Leaf or Akili Smith or Andre Ware or David Carr or any of a large group of "can't miss" QBs that have come to the NFL and have shown that college success is in no way a guarantee for success in the NFL. For the most part the QBs that are viewed as the best in the NFL right now were not 1st round draft choices by their current teams.
That's a bit of a twisting on the fact though. Most were drafted as one of the first few QBs off the board, even if they're not with their current teams now. Brady the obvious exception, but Peyton, first QB, Brees, 2nd QB, Rodgers 2nd QB....many talent people would say they'd rather start a team with Luck than any other QB, so first QB. Looking at other recent Super Bowl winners: Eli, 1st QB, Flacco, 2nd QB. So yeah, most of the best QBs in the league were drafted fairly early.
I like Shaw from Stanford; he's a Gruden protégé as a matter of fact.It might be hard to get him; he's probably excited to coach Barry Sanders Jr . . .

Looking at the QBs for the teams in the playoffs or are playing for a playoff spot, you have as many non-first rounders as you do first rounders. And at least 2 of them are not with the team that drafted them. That is not twisting anything, that is what is happening.
